After almost one decade in Banking, including International Banking, and a further too many years to mention within the Financial Services industry in various guises including Sales, Training & Development, Risk Management and more recently Sales and Performance Coaching, Marie Tkaczyk's path crossed with Claire Patrick founder of Inner Excellence (www.innerexcellence.co.uk) and more recently The Wealth Coach (www.wealthcoaching.co.uk).

This inspired her to establish her own personal and professional development and coaching business in 2005, trading under two names, Discover The Real You (DTRY) and The Wealth Coach, working very closely with Claire in the latter.

Always greatly interested in people, Marie Tkaczyk is able to connect with individuals of all ages and within all 'walks of life', with many frequently astounded that "she can meet a complete stranger and within half an hour they are telling her their life story"!

This ability has proved invaluable when dealing with both her personal and professional clients and has enabled her to attain great successes when coaching on a One2One basis, in small groups or workshops or during one of her informal Ladies Lunches and Corporate Ladies Days (see Ladies Lunches, our events).

 

Her approach

A true professional, Marie Tkaczyk is always keen to ensure that your time with her is informative but, more importantly, that it is always fun! She believes that the demands placed upon us are so intense and at times very stretching to the extent that we sometimes forget to appreciate the here and now. She is, therefore, determined to ensure that all her clients, private and professional, enjoy the indulgence of focussing on between 90 mins and 2 hrs (typical duration of her 'One2One'sessions) focussing on themselves – focussing on their needs and aspirations instead of the needs of those around them, be it family, friends, bosses or work colleagues.

She firmly believes that it is important to be ahead of the game professionally, and amongst her many Banking and Financial Services qualifications including Supervision and Sales Management (attained well before they became a pre-requisite within the Industry), she has continued in this vein by attaining qualifications in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and associated The Wealth Coach qualifications.

Oh, and not forgetting to mention, attaining a language degree in her relatively recent "Gap Year" whilst studying not one, but four, languages!

She believes the great skills and experiences (positive and less so) gained throughout her career are invaluable in her present career and it is these skills coupled with her boundless energy and enthusiasm that distinguish her from being an average or even good coach to being an excellent Coach.

She whole-heartily subscribes to the theory that rest and relaxation is something to be enjoyed in retirement and that life is for learning, life is for living but most importantly, life is for enjoying!
